Voluntary Term Life Insurance

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Available to all BCTF members insured under the Term Life Plan, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance is an excellent complementary product to Term Life Insurance. It provides extra benefits should you suffer an accidental death or dismemberment. You can select the “Member Only Plan” to cover just yourself, or the "Member and Family Plan" to cover your spouse and dependent children as well. Learn more.

Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance

Coverage is available to both BCTF members and their spouses. If either you or your spouse is diagnosed with one of the 25 covered conditions, you will receive a tax-free lump sum benefit payment to be used any way you choose. Benefits will be paid regardless of whether you are able to work during recovery and the benefit is paid directly to you on top of any other medical or disability plans you may have. IAP's Critical Illness Insurance also features an AdvanceCare Benefit, which covers you and your spouse for several non life-threatening conditions. Learn more.

Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance

Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance provides members and spouses aged 50+ with the opportunity to purchase life insurance without the worry of having to answer health questions or provide other evidence of insurability. Acceptance is guaranteed.

Premiums are based on age at the date coverage is issued and rates do not increase as you enter a new age band.
